WoGspot is Back

I’ve been unblocked for posting on the Blogspot WarOnGuns site–but whatever Google’s “fix” is, it appears IE can’t access it (Firefox and Safari work).

Several others have told me the same thing is happening on their Blogspot sites, so I’m going to try and find out what’s happening on that score.

Don’t look for me to immediately transition here–for now, this site will just be a placeholder until I figure out the direction I want to go and what it will take to transition.

For the immediate and foreseeable future, the plan is to keep posting on the old site.  Truth be told, I haven’t been “sold” on Word Press and am looking at other options–I don’t want to put myself through the hours of tedium to transition things only to decide I’m not happy here.

I do want to thank all of you who have stepped up with offers of help. I appreciate it very much. Thank you.

UPDATE: A cursory search as well as comments by some of you here, on the WoGspot site and via emails showed the “culprit” to be the Site Meter code. I gather the folks there are doing some upgrading and didn’t count on the legendary stand-offishness of Microsoft to play well with others. I removed it and IE is now working. Pity–it was more useful for quick snapshot access to BATFU visits than Stat Counter. Perhaps after they work the bugs out, I will restore the code.
